Working with Amplo? Here’s how it goes.

Everything you need to know and do to work smoothly with Amplo: from your first assignment to your payment.

Personal guidance

 

At Amplo, we believe tailored support is very important. That’s why you get a personal advisor as soon as you entrust us with your first assignment.

 

Your advisor

 

  • creates and follows up your contracts,

  • provides clarity when you have questions,

  • monitors your payments,

  • and guides you through complex matters such as the Artist Certificate, copyrights, and more.

How to submit an assignment

 

Send us the necessary info before the start of your job! This can be done by email, phone, or via your digital sidekick HelloAmplo.

 

Last minute


Did you only find out last minute that you need to work and our offices are already closed? Then submit your assignment yourself via our emergency line, free of charge at 0800 84 900. Afterwards, provide the missing details to your advisor.

 

HelloAmplo


You should normally have received an activation email for HelloAmplo. Make sure to check your spam folder if you can’t find it in your inbox. Using this tool is not mandatory, but it’s very convenient for those who like to work digitally or access their documents 24/7.

 

Working abroad

 

Please note that you must inform us at least two working days in advance if you are working abroad. This gives us enough time to process the extra administration often required by the country of employment.

Required info for a contract

 

  • Name, address, and VAT number of the organisation (or full name, address, and national register number if you work for a private individual).

  • Name and email address of your contact person.

  • Your role.

  • The date(s) of the assignment.

  • Start time and, if applicable, end time, and/or number of hours.

  • Invoice amount including or excluding VAT.

  • Location of the assignment.

  • Possible expenses*.

 

* Expenses can be included in or excluded from the invoice amount, depending on your agreement with the client. Need more info? Ask your advisor for guidance!

 

Invoice follow-up

 

On the Monday after the assignment, we request confirmation of your performance from your client(s). If they confirm within 48 hours, we transfer your salary on Wednesday. As for the invoice follow-up – that’s on us, don’t worry.

From invoice amount to net salary

 

It’s best to agree on an invoice amount per hour, per day, or per task with your clients (including or excluding VAT).
Depending on your expenses (such as telework allowance, commuting, or travel expenses) and withholding tax, you usually keep a little less than half of that invoice amount as net salary (for student jobs, it’s 75%).

 

This is because all social security contributions and other deductions must also be applied, so that you remain legally compliant and insured.

 

Be sure to ask your advisor for a tailored simulation once you have all the details of your assignment.
